Seagate built this SkyHawk AI drive with a storage capacity of 8TB and a 3.5" form factor, plus a SATA III 6 Gb/s interface, a 256MB cache, and a rotational speed of 7200 rpm, all of which help to ensure uninterrupted data transfers with a sustained rate of up to 235 MB/s. Data reliability is further enhanced by 300,000 load/unload cycles, a 2 million hour MTBF, 1 per 1015 non-recoverable read errors per bits read, and an AFR (annualized failure rate) of 0.44%.
