it does not give 4k @ 60hz
I bought it to use with my 4k monitor but it only gives out 4k @30hz, first I assumed it was an issue with my machine but upon investigating I found it was an issue with this converter. Please do not buy if you intend to use on 4k.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
